Joy Chinelo Ikiebe is an experienced corporate law professional, management advisor and entrepreneur. With over 27 years in strategic management roles and legal practice, Joy is currently the Senior Partner of Ikiebe & Company, a law firm established 23 years ago and retained by numerous multinational organizations in the manufacturing, construction, banking, oil and gas and general corporate law.  

A former Group Company Secretary of the C & C Group of Companies, Joy sits on the Boards of several companies and public institutions including South Atlantic Petroleum (where she serves on the Finance and General Purpose Committee) and serves on  the advisory boards of the Institute for Energy Law (USA). She is also a member of the the Institute for National Transformation.

A 2013 Coca-Cola scholar and alumnus of the prestigious Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos and University of Buckingham, UK, Joy engaged in social entrepreneurial initiatives as the co-founder of African Motherhood Initiative, AMI, a non-profit devoted to strategic partnerships and collaborations for the advancement of the wellbeing of children, women and the family unit in Africa through poverty reduction, education and capacity building initiatives. Significantly, AMI was a leader in the successful initiative to develop the 1st translation of the Nigerian Constitution for use in primary and secondary schools towards the refocusing of civics, human rights, peace, security, ethics and leadership studies among the youth of Nigeria. AMI is also a major sponsor of a key initiative towards combating and managing mental health issues in Nigeria through education and other interventions.
